Plumeria Hostel apartments have private locking bedrooms which share a full kitchen and bathroom. Each apartment is shared by five housemates. Each bedroom is rented separately.
Plumeria Apartments is a small, simple apartment complex built in the 1950's. We rent two of the apartments out hostel style for short term stays.
The cost depends on length of stay. We are primarily for people staying two weeks or longer.
Our place is great for extended vacations or people just moving to the island while they get settled in with jobs and apartments.

Our cancellation policy: We require a deposit to make a reservation. If you cancel 14 days or more before your reservation date you will receive a 90% refund. If you cancel less than 14 days before your reservation there is no refund.
Advance reservations are accepted on stays of 1 week or longer only.
3 Day stay: Please email or call 7-10 days before your arrival to see if we have availibility.
Occasionally, we can rent for a 3 day stay.The cost is $55-$75 per night. We will only book for stays that fit open slots. Stays of less one week must be arranged thru Diane at

Security Deposit:
If the guest has an ongoing plane ticket for check out and pays for the entire stay at check in-- we will not require the deposit. Otherwise, a $500. refundable security deposit is required.
Plumeria provides simple clean rooms, with in room small fridge, basic cable w/ tv, ceiling fan, bed & bureau.
Our kitchen & bathroom (shared space) have a family size fridge, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and basic pots & dishes. We provide bedding, trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper and weekly cleaning of the common area.
Guests provide their own towels & toiletries
Plumeria's location is very convienent. We are on Piikoi, between King and Beretania Streets. The Bus routes 1,2 & 13 pass by us every 10 minutes or so. Two supermarkets (Safeway & Times) are within a block of us; and Walmart is three blocks away.
